About Ann
Ann Evans trained as a McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapist with its originator Hugh Corley in the early 1990's and with Stewart Mitchell in Swedish Massage and Sports Injury.
When practising as a therapist she soon discovered that the method was often too invasive and even painful for older clients and young children.
Ann adapted the method so that clients made the movements themselves. She then discovered that the bones more often stayed in place instead of reverting and that the movements were generally painless.
The new method proved so successful that she started to use it with all clients who appreciated its gentleness as well as its effectiveness and immediacy.
In 2011, Evans Alignment Technique was officially recognised by the Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI).
